I have a simple stored procedure that reads from a table. The field in the table is a string. I am trying to return the field as a datatype:

I want to have this stored procedure return the data from the row where @ID is equal to ID. In my DB I set the column up as a real, so it should be returning a real.
Is this how the stored procedure should be written?

If I run this, then my return value is 0. If I run this:

then it returns the value from the row correctly.
I am not sure what is going on with this. When I run the stored procedure in Management Studio, the value I get back is 0, which makes sense since the stored procedure is working on @ID which is 0. However, when I run the stored procedure by just passing in the parameters, then I am returning the correct data.
Is the fact that I am using a stored procedure, but not declaring a datatype somehow causing this?

On my desktop, I have set the display to lock when the Shift key is pressed and held for a short time. However, I never use Shift to lock, so it inconveniences me to have it constantly locked. Is there any way to change this behavior so that the Shift key doesn’t turn on the display when Shift key is held?

Press Ctr + Alt + Print Screen to capture a screenshot of your screen to the clipboard.
Open a text editor and paste that screenshot into the page.
Delete the lines that specify display lock. Press Alt + Print screen again to copy that back in.
Or just use Task Manager, desktop (Classic) > shortcut, save screenshot there. Yes, it will be on your desktop, but you can easily delete the lines describing display lock in the AppData folder.

What’s New:
I’m really excited about what I’ve done with this title. I’ve
spent the last year or so making changes to the core gameplay,

“The fact that such deals are being contemplated with North Korea is troubling on a number of levels,” said a statement from Republican House leaders, including Speaker Paul Ryan. “These talks are disturbing in that they would have the president and Kim Jong-un meeting as ‘equal partners’ while the North Korean regime continues to perpetuate the oppression of its people and human rights abuses.”

Watch the videogame journalist play a protracted space shooting match to our 25-minute recommendation, in which he’s disappointed to find it requires the HTC Vive to work really well. The controls do take a bit of getting used to. You’re basically in a cockpit, with an affable protagonist and a support staff of AI who give you nice alerts and warnings with appropriate panache to help you survive the “Extinction Event”.
We’ve got some nice ideas of how we’d like to see HES become even better – but it is still really excellent and an example of why the updates to the platform should move fast and look strong, even if it feels weird that it’s Skyrim for Windows and PS4 at the same time.

So the really fun thing about the rumble strip on the path was that when I first saw it, it was right in front of me and I just went to walk around it. I went to walk around it and accidentally rolled my boot over it. But I was able to recover my balance and continued the game. However, the adventure did not continue for much longer since I was unable to roll my character’s foot over it a second time. It was a pretty fun game in a way.

The core gameplay is that of using an iPhone to play Pass-and-Play which is basically like a fighting game. While it’s quite true to the source material it is very refreshing to not only play as one character but to play as them in different ways (ie. Cooperate or Defend). The developers have obviously put a lot of time into making this game not only feel like an App Store game but to still be enjoyable in that way. It’s also a game that I can see myself playing for a lot of hours and is really fun. It also comes in three modes – Team, Solo and Local Pass-and-Play which you can easily play by yourself, one to two players or a local player against a computer opponent.
The game is available on the App Store for $4.99 in the U.S, the EU, Australia and Canada. Considering the app has been out for just over a year, the game itself is fairly new. It

We’ve been using SkyView at our office for the past few months. I’ve watched in awe as they continue to iterate on their algorithms, their core business, and their user experience, and I’ve been taking their innovations for granted. SkyView is frankly a fundamental part of my day-to-day, and with the immediate access they’ve given me, I’m starting to understand firsthand just how useful their technology is.

Their next step is to turn this experience into a module for Google Chrome. That said, it’s not yet clear what specific features will debut as part of their work with Google, but they definitely won’t be opening up their core approach to selling imagery. They took similar design cues from the sky map in Google Maps, so, for example, you can see the same tiles for satellite imagery display in the same overlay map as the StreetView imagery. This way, you can move between areas on either map in the same experience. The just fit and work together without a hiccup. If you’re in an area like San Francisco, for example, that has a high concentration of photosites that SkyView’s algorithm finds relevant to you, your feed is largely photos taken by people located near those photosites.
Some things about SkyView are public, and they’ve shared quite a bit of information about their working algorithms and data sources. However, the team from Stansbury, Colo., has been selectively opening up their hardware, data sources, and algorithms for some smaller, controlled experiments. They do this in the truest sense of the word — it’s not open source, per se, and they’re not openly sharing their data and source code, but their chief scientist and creative director, Matt Chambers, is the one officially leading those work-in-progress experiments.

The Last Campaign
The. last. campaign begins. For the first time the characters have a mission that they know when they will end, and they have to spend the time planning. The planning includes choosing who will be their agents: The heroes and their enemies.
One hour before the events of the finale, the Investigation team gathers together for a briefing. The Information Officer explains why they are there. They caught the scent of the villains last night somewhere around the Family Arbour and ran a check on the genealogy of Selesnya Church of Loyalty. The genealogy checks out, but afterwards we didn’t find anything that could help them. Also, they had tried to animate a poorly animated skeleton the dogs picked up along the way. They were able to identify it as a Disciplined.
Their only leads are cut-outs left on the Contingency Planner at Lawvale Distilleries. The Investigation team will first check if the base of the plan is in Derdwin. This moves them closer to the Family Arbour, which will eventually lead them to Lawvale Distilleries. Afterwards, they move to Ruegen Island.
According to the Contingency Planner, the thieves have the relics that they want. There is a setup to cast some spells to confuse the Investigation team on their first visit to Ruegen Island. On the second visit to Ruegen Island, they will be waiting.
“Contingency Planner” is an alias. Her real name is Elmgreen. She is a woman without face, just an empty skull. The investigators discovered her plans during the investigation of the Wano Tower. I hope to answer some of the questions in the replies. But first, let me answer a few points of confusion or miscategorization or such that can be corrected.

Before we delve into the book itself, I’d like to start by tackling an issue which I hadn’t anticipated when starting Chains of Renegade and which became annoying for me recently – in fact to a degree -that of the balance between its narrative and its gameplay (or rather, narrative and tactics). An in-house test game shows that, particularly near the beginning of the proceedings, mere exposure to these two aspects can have a hugely disruptive impact upon one another – and, as things would play out, the game so very quickly descended into a morality engine, with descriptive writing interspersed throughout every approach to every turn, only to then resort to an apparently neglectful leadership-based system later on. Hence, towards the later pages, when it seemed like the plot was finally going to pick up, the dialogue options suddenly choked with redundant opinions on the philosophy of my choices, more or less behaving as if I had been granted the freedom to take a decision – while my strategy to offend everyone and lead to world destruction outright failed.
Not a great experience for the nice people trying to play from the safety of some not-uncanny irony. And personally

As you probably know I’m a big fan of the Star Wars universe.
It’s a series that has made me dream from a very young age, and that I’ve always considered my first love.
The very same thing happened in the world of gaming.
I was watching streams when I found out about Free To Play games.
I thought: This is it! This is what I’ve always been looking for!
I want to create my very own game in this universe!
I started by creating an idea of what I’d like my game to be. The game has now evolved a lot and I really love it. I hope that you will enjoy it.
I also decided to create an indie game.
This is why it took me a long time to release the game! I always wanted to create something that was important to me.
This is why I really hope you’ll give it a try and that you’ll find it easy to play, easy to understand, and that you’ll find it inspiring.
