This is a strategy game with RPG elements.
You play as Altered who is tasked with finding her sister, the Princess Vanessa. For this purpose you must explore and fight over the lands to find out what happened to her.
As you progress you will encounter various towns and villages populated by different types of people. Each of these people has its own story and quests to accomplish.
The story and quests are based on the setting of the game and the players decisions.
As you continue you will gain experience which will unlock new items for you to use along with progress in the game.
The game contains various ways to play including battle against the AI, one player co-op or two player co-op.
The controls are simple with touch screen controls which makes the game easy to play and easy to learn.
The game contains in-depth tutorials to help you understand the interface.
A player can collect a bounty which they may choose to take or leave. There are many different reasons a bounty may be taken. Killing a certain person could result in a bounty to seek revenge or find a missing person. Bounty Hunting is fun and challenging.
The game is made up of seven worlds and 24 regions each is unique and contains its own story line with unique quests and challenges.
The different worlds are connected by a main story line that spans from west to east.
Each region can be visited and explored independently of the other worlds. The game has an in-depth navigation system so that you can visit each region without repeating story lines or getting lost.

Final thoughts:
The special thing about Altered is that it’s a unique game with its own lore and concept. It’s unlike any other game I’ve played before. It’s a difficult game which can get somewhat frustrating as you struggle to beat guards and bosses. There are many ways to approach the game and each have their own playstyle to it. The story is well written and character development is strong. The gameplay was fun and challenging. It’s probably the closest to Kingdom Come: Deliverance with a custom engine but has its own sense of style. Overall it’s definitely worth checking out.

A fantasy novel for the RPG!
In the world of the deep desert people live in harmony with the nature.
The sacred lands are calm and serene; the brownish sky offers pleasure to the weary eye. People who live in these lands are blessed by the gods that dwell in the outer distance. Every day the sun rises and sets, every day its warmth makes the world bloom. Still, everything is not as it seems, and a hidden darkness is growing.
In the kingdom of the sun, people are spreading rumors about the lands of the dark. Deep in the desert, which is home to the beasts, sorcerers roam about freely, casting their spells and enchanting people with their power. Their cruel deeds cause a lot of anger and the king of the sun send his knights on a mission to bring peace to the land.
The princess of the sun is searching for her sister who she believes has been abducted by the sorcerers. Her people and allies are gathered in a small village to defend themselves from the unnatural acts of the beasts. In the midst of all of this chaos, the princess has to face the brutal nature of the desert and her own destiny to become the new queen of light!

The Altered Lands X64 (Latest)

“The Altered Lands” is an Action Combat & exploration game. You navigate the realms of your adventures using grappling hooks and ropes to string a rope between two ledges. Then you pull up and do your job!
You can also use stuff like climbing and swimming to navigate. The game world itself is inspired by Skyrim, The Witcher and Mass Effect.
Combat Mechanics:
The combat system in “The Altered Lands” is based on combos and defensive blocking. You have to dodge and block incoming damage to stay alive and stay safe. If an attack hits, you will auto-block. If you’re hit by an attack, you will receive a knockdown and you can fight back against the enemy. Being knocked down can also give you a chance to dodge the next hit, or to even use a new skill.
The combat is not completely fixed. You can dodge and react to the situation at any given time. So, when you’re hit, you can either counter or just passively watch the battle.
Crafting and Gathering:
In The Altered Lands you gather stuff. Items you collect will be used for crafting. So you have to be careful not to lose anything.
You’ll need things like wood, coal, iron ore, herbs, or other necessary materials you can find in this world. You can also sell items you’ve made to make money. These items can be stored in your inventory and used later to buy things, or to craft more stuff.
You can find many things on your journey. So pick up those things and use them for crafting.

New Anti-Cheat

New Features:

We’ve made a big change in the new version of Dark Souls!

We’ve added a full new Anti-Cheat system. Instead of temporary protection, we’ve implemented our own completely new system which will protect you from cheating activities like hacking and other cheating activities.

Why has this change been made?

After the recent disaster with cheating in Dark Souls, we heard the need for a completely different Anti-Cheat system. People who cheat on online games, in general, are a very rare thing. But cheating in the context of Dark Souls and who was cheating and why they were cheating, it’s a little bit different.

This new Anti-Cheat system is completely different from the temporary anti-cheat protection. It’s completely independent from the Dark Souls online system. It’s very safe and it will not affect your gameplay.

 

What’s new:

A great influence on the development of Seren’s gameplay is the tabletop role-playing game known as Pathfinder. Since this system was the basis for the story of Path of the Exile, it influences a lot the feel of the game. Speaking from a personal point of view: dungeon crawling and exploring have always been a major part of my gameplay and the game of Seren greatly influenced the exploration style. That said, the graphic direction also had a major impact, and in combination the gameplay and style grew into one of my favorites. Here are just some of my favorite parts of the game to show you the development process.

Seren’s evolution as a top-down shooter took time but inevitable from the start. After Matt Martinez (who was a MMD player since Reaper of Souls) joined, we started adapting to the look and feel of action games. Path of Exile certainly started a trend of high-resolution texture where detail was crucial and design didn’t have a smooth path. Seren’s early design is made of a concept of action game with high level of details with a more abstract look. The second concept merged itself with the later Diablo II look and the artwork.

The first draft of the HUD (as it was known then) from the cinematic trailer showed the adorable fusion between the game’s personalities and sassy dialogue. In the cinematic trailer, there’s a video that explains to us “here’s what to do, konami”. A deeper concept was necessary and the system was conceived. In the end the characters of the game are boys (none of the characters though!). The first draft consisted of a system of communication between the player and Seren, suggesting what decisions you are going to make and the game is going to speak to you. In fact, some videos were made with the characters in front of a strange background and they were doing different stuff to read what was the most appropriate decision for the character. The three main characters from the early design even shared unique dialogue conversations to gradually establish the relationships with the player. In the end, it just couldn’t work. It is difficult to make a boy speak and behave like his dream girl. A girl was chosen, for the sake of consistency, but that choice wasn’t without consequence. Seren felt too feminine to express the spirit and thought of the characters, and the sense of presence of the player in an otaku-like game. A day
