I have a parent element with a child element within it. I want to be able to make the parent element a different color when the child has a certain hover state, and I want to use the child’s hover state to style the parent element’s background color.
Here is a simplified example:

The problem is the hover event is only triggered on the child, and its color is applied to the parent.
