It is a huge FPS FPS, and as such is entirely UI driven, without any gameplay mechanics or system for the player to explore. For now, the only goal I have in mind is to port the various concepts found in Modern Warfare 3 to a 64 bit engine.
This is a trailer of my work in progress, since I really had no plan on releasing anything in the Open Beta format. For this version, there is a choatic story, but I’m not planning on adding anything else until full blown gameplay is available. It’s playable at:

For those looking for an adventure with a sense of wonder, The Sea Will Claim Everything is a must-have.
The game’s main attraction is the plot, which examines the question of what happens when societies begin to sink into a sort of collective hysteria. As you guide the main character through an island town whose population can no longer bear the hardship, they begin to lose their common sense and our protagonist loses hers.
Gameplay involves manipulating floating blocks around the room to form a bridge, to create a temporary escape route for the victim, and to knock out a guard. In between most of these scenes there are lengthy dialogues which are voiced by an actor who must be in the correct mood. Unfortunately, when I played the game the dialogs were not always delivered perfectly, sometimes resulting in the actress sounding bitter or shocked. The problem is that if this happens then the player must stop and correct the situation, which interrupts the flow of the game. It also becomes obvious if the player is having trouble with the game’s controls.
There are some RPG-style elements within the game that give a more immersive experience and allow the player to gain bonuses such as increased swimming skills, improved character stats and the ability to return to their bedroom at any time.Posts

So when I was looking for ideas to bring to the next week’s Living in the Zone, I came across a concept: the killer experience. An experience that’s so good, it’s hard to come back to it. And that’s when I got the idea to host an experience festival in The Netherlands, of all places.
I started collecting examples of what I could think of as killer experiences. A lot of them are working in the already-established creative industries of music, theater and art. People like Taylor Swift or Arcade Fire are going to keep people glued to their screens. And experiences that I’d really want to do: a week with no alcohol, staying up to see the sunset, making your own jam.

Realms of Sinister has a great new game show called Puzzle & Adventure and today I want to talk about the third season of that show, covering Season 3 Episode 3: Lost in Time.
During Puzzle & Adventure Season 3 Episode 3, the kids on the show get shrunk to the size of a grain of sand and have to fight for their survival. The kids are unable to grow back to their original size until they can find the gems among the hills of the sand. The whole game show is a farce, but the 3 minute special was excellent. Like Puzzle & Adventure Episode 1: The Parthenon Code, this episode sees the kids shrunk into a small simulation in the Epic Pictures Main Facility in order to access the location of 7 Gems and their respective Heroes.
Like Episode 1, Episode 3 also has a host, this time it’s Gary the Tragedy Fairy. In true Fairytale style, Gary seems to exist in an alternate universe where good triumphs over evil, but all of his stories seem to involve only the heroes. Regardless, Gary is a charming and likable host who ensures the children do not get too upset or angry when their adventure goes awry.

An ordeal, a struggle, and things not quite as it seems. True heroes and evil villains, but you don’t always get what you think you’re going to get. Every day, there’s a new Puzzle & Adventure. To take on today’s challenge, tune in to see what happens when the dusty hills of the sand are spiked with the 4 precious gems and the 7 dangerous Gems. At 3… 2… 1… Action!
You then see the kids approach some fake hills, one of which is a sandbox. Inside the sandbox is a giant puzzle with the words Gem? Gems?
Despite the name of this episode, the kids never go out of time. The “Time” part of this episode refers to an ability that can change the layout of the puzzle. The person who activates the Time can request a second to play with, allowing the person to move a spring in the right place without being counted as “stupid.” For the most part the kids only time switches when they are being cheated.
