for a long time now offline battle servers have been a thing. recently a lot of interesting stuff has started to happen and has been in a time where if you play this game you will recognize where its heading. i decided now that a server is worth my time. so i’m all for skipping some work and burn some drek. this is the first time i’m doing this to get it off my chest a little bit and it is going to be the future if it turns out well.
i’m not asking anyone to donate, i’ll do that myself, i’ve already been playing on my free weekends and have some money left to pay for server costs. but since it’s a lot of work for me that can only be done on a server i think it’s fair for everyone to donate some drek towards it. i’m not donating for my regular work so if you want to contact me for that send me a pm.
i’m doing my full time job at the moment and i also have other things to focus on like personal life. but from the time i’m finished i’ll be playing factions and kings in the mornings while commuting. so if you want to discuss anything or just get a hang of my lanscape leave a comment or a pm. i can’t be online often since i have school work. you can check the server on wasteland.lanscape.org .
if you want to advertise your game i’m happy to see it. i’ll post screenshots of cool games which is a lot. let me know where you got the intro music from (unfortnately i can’t remember) and if you have some decent lobby pics. i’ve seen that a lot on other servers
in order to play on the starcraft 2 dedicated server, you first must play a multiplayer “battle.net” match online and then enable the “host” tab on the “client” tab under “company.of.heroes”. for the offline mode, you must buy the game from the steam store.
in your lan network settings, use the server ip of your “battle.net” server to connect to “company.heroes 2” instead of the “company.heroes 2” server that is given to you when you first launch the game.
