Datgen Exe Generals Download Cra

i have downloaded it from here: and i have no idea what to do. it installs fine but when it tries to run, it says “cannot load datgen.exe” then freezes. i have re-installed it several times and have done a full clean, but it still does this.

i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, and deleting all the program files in the data folder and re-installing the game. it says “unable to load datgen.exe” in the game, then freezes.

i have just installed it, and when i try to start the game up it says ‘unable to launch c:usersmattappdatalocaltempdatgen.exe. c:usersmattappdatalocaltempdatgen.exe is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. check the application event log for error details. the launch error occurred in unknown.

i have done the same steps as the previous people. i have downloaded the mod from the link and have done the steps to install it. i have tried reinstalling, and deleting and redownloading and reinstalling the game. nothing is working.

i have a problem with the game. the icon in the taskbar is gone, the game does not run, i get a message: “the game will be shutdown. please terminate all running programs. press ok to confirm the shutdown”. i have uninstalled generals zero hour, the updates from the site, tried to start it in safe mode, nothing worked.

thanks for the help. i have tried deleting the temp files in my documents/electronic arts/command and conquer generals folder, i have tried reinstalling a fresh copy, i have installed it as an administrator. i have run it as a standard user. i have also tried running it as a standard user. i can’t get it to run.
