hajime no ippo 2004 is the eleventh installment of the popular hayate no gotoku series. each game has a different ippo. this time he is playing with kashiwagi, a major japanese baseball team, and facing yokosuka seibu. the story is based in the previous match, where ippo defeated his rival from yokosuka seibu. ippo and yokosuka seibu were the main rivals since the beginning of the anime series and each time the yokosuka seibu championship is ippo vs ippo. now ippo comes back to his hometown after the match and is looking for the yokosuka seibu atmosphere. he wants to know his father but by the story he has not seen him since his parents divorce.
