This game is based on my own experience learning ice-skating. It’s inspired by my visit to the Tjejhuset in Copenhagen in August 2014, an ice-skating rink which has a rise from the water of about 4 meters (13 feet).
How I learned to Skate is a test of stamina, a great experience to learn what it feels like to skate on hard, freezing ice for the first time.
My goal is to get a score of 100 skaters. A score of 100 skaters means you’ve achieved a basic level of proficiency.
My challenge is to not fall. To make the experience more difficult, my ice-rink is at sea-level and thus the ice is constantly freezing on me, sometimes harder than I can stand.
This challenge puts a premium on quick reactions and a sensitivity to the perfect balance between pushing and pulling. It also includes what feels like having an ice-covered head, which could possibly take the fun out of learning to skate.

Part two is more to do with the challenges I set myself. I wanted to challenge myself with it. And with learning to ice-skate for the first time, you realize how fragile it is.
In late 2014, I learned to skate and lost my virginity to ice-skating.
A lot of time later, I recorded and released a game based on this experience.
Consider this an attempt to bring together my first lessons learned with ice-skating, it was long ago.
It is the first time I’ve made a game, which hopefully means I’ll improve my skills going forward.

Verne: The Shape of Fantasy is a tough game to review. There’s no story to follow, and the battles become surprisingly hard. Combining limited visual fun with seemingly unending puzzle-like battles, this is yet another slow dungeon crawler which puzzles the player with its ultimate effectiveness. Reading ahead to find plot holes and hidden discounts is always a wise course of action during this puzzling, challenging, yet, ultimately satisfying gameplay.

by Abob: A very interesting game… I like the outfit, but I changed the logo to a large swirly one. It looks very cool and is fun to play with… I also had to change the selling text to say “For sale” instead of “Sell the fruits for an extra X”. When I changed the logo to “Sell the fruits for an extra!” I had a one in 10 chance of getting a unicorn, which was annoying.
NOTE: Beggar is a pre-alpha alpha test for a new indie game by Abob. I hope to finish this game by
the day I’m publishing this. This game is in early of development. Like most of his other games (Mind Labyrinth, etc.) it uses lots of sound effects. I know this will break the sound driver (as it does with my sound driver! ) but we’ll have to live with it for a few weeks. The game is very straight forward with 12 levels and 3 tokens each that you can change any time you want.
In the first two levels there is a locked door that you have to break after a wave of effects (A Storm in the Ocean, a Lonely Whale, etc.) happens

The Game Verne: The Shape of Fantasy is a story about a city in a fantasy world. The main characters are named Mister and Missus Verne, Bob and Marie, Pheasant Harry, and Daphne Wherry.
Verne: The Shape of Fantasy has six chapters, and each chapter is a section of the story written in the third person, from the perspective of the characters. The character names are an homage to the famous literary characters who inspired the name Verne: Mister and Missus Verne are a couple who have not one, but two, children. In the first chapter, Mister and Missus Verne meet the Daphne Wherry for the first time. Throughout the story, Daphne is named after one of the most famous real life novelist of the time Daphne du Maurier, and her father is named after a famous Irish author of his time, P. H. Shannon. This chapter is set in a world called The Human World.
In the second chapter, Missus Verne and Pheasant Harry have a child together and this gives the reader a chance to see how Bob and Marie differ, how Mister and Missus Verne react, and Bob and Marie’s marriage. In the third chapter, Pheasant Harry and Daphne become love rivals who are constantly arguing. This is to let the reader know that both the Pheasant and the Daphne characters are based on real people and the real world in history as well as the fact that some of the characters are from different places in the story.
In the fourth chapter, Mister and Missus Verne have to leave their apartment as they did not want a child. This lets the reader know that Mister and Missus Verne are

Verne did not see this system as an outdated practice of the past, but as a unique form of entertainment with old pros.
